Join us for our annual neighborhood pool party! Bring a picnic dinner and drinks. We will have ice cream sandwiches and a giant coin dive game! This event is open to all Stuart Heights residents. You do not have to be a member of the pool! RSVP so that we have enough ice cream!

Holiday Celebration and Luminary

We are very excited to announce that we are going to have our 6th annual luminary event this year. I want to thank you all in advance for being a part of this event. It is so much fun and beautiful.

Our event will take place on December 10 at 6 pm. St. Luke UMC and SHNA will be hosting a tree lighting, kid craft, cookies and hot chocolate on the front lawn at St. Luke.

Once again, we are giving you the option of putting luminaries at your house lining your property or you can make a donation to help us line a continuous section of the roads. Last year, your donations and involvement led us to line 3/4 of Ozark Road all the way to St. Luke UMC. It was absolutely beautiful!

The remainder of the proceeds will go to beautification projects within the neighborhood and continued community events. We would love to hear what your ideas for beautification projects would be. Please send us an email at info@stuartheights.net to tell us your ideas.

Here’s how it works. We will be ordering all the supplies to make luminaries: sand, tea lights, and white paper bags. We will determine how many bags you need. At 6:00, you will light your bags every 5-7 feet lining your property. Later that evening, you will blow your candles out. Please let me know if I gave you too many bags last year! Pick-up for luminaries will be on December 2 or December 9 from 11-2. You will get an email from me with a reminder closer to the pick-up date.

Here’s how you get involved. The cost to participate is a donation between $25-$50. We want to make sure everyone can participate at a price that works for your budget. If you can not participate at a $25 donation, please contact us at the email below and let us know what you can donate. Our goal is that everyone can participate, and although this is a fundraiser, we also realize it is a hard time of year to spend extra. We are also asking that you reach out to your neighbors and encourage them to participate. It will help us tremendously if your entire street bans together in this! Remember, if you don’t want to participate, but would like to make a donation, we would love that. Let us know when you sign up so that we don’t fill an order for luminaries.
